Maple Grove Cemetery

Maple Grove Cemetery is located on the south side of Chester Mountain Road, near the intersection with VT-100, in Weston, Vermont (Windsor County). The coordinates are 43° 17' 38" N, 72° 47' 14" W.

Maple Grove Cemetery was established in the 1860's, and it is still active. There are many old marble gravestones, and most are in great condition. There are some beautiful carvings. The cemetery is very well maintained.

Forefathers Cemetery

The Forefathers Cemetery is located on the east side of Lawrence Hill Road, between Trout Club Road and Landgrove Road, in Weston, Vermont (Windsor County). The coordinates are 43° 17' 38" N, 72° 47' 49" W.

The Forefathers Cemetery was established in 1806, and the last burial was in 1895. To reach the cemetery, you have to climb a narrow staircase up a steep hill. There are many old slate and marble gravestones. While most are in good condition, several have been damaged. The cemetery grounds are very well maintained.

Weston Island Cemetery

The first cemetery in town was established near the Island south of Old Tavern Road and east of Boynton Road.  No record is found of the date, but it was before Weston was split from Andover in 1799.
